At Stockton Dental Clinic, our Root canal treatment is conducted using local anesthesia to ensure a pain-free experience for our patients. Using a dental drill, we carefully access the tooth and remove any damaged or infected pulp during the procedure.

Pain Management : The procedure is performed under local anesthesia to ensure that the patient feels little to no discomfort during the process.
Accessing the Tooth : The dentist accesses the infected or damaged pulp chamber by creating a small opening in the tooth’s crown.
Removing the Pulp : Using specialized instruments, the dentist carefully removes the infected or damaged pulp tissue from inside the tooth and cleans the root canals to remove any bacteria or debris.
Filling and Sealing : Once the root canals are thoroughly cleaned and shaped, they are filled with a biocompatible material called gutta-percha to prevent re-infection. The opening in the tooth is then sealed with a temporary or permanent filling.
Restoration : In many cases, a tooth that has undergone root canal treatment will require a dental crown to restore its strength, function, and appearance. The crown is custom-made to match the shape and color of the natural tooth and is placed over the treated tooth to protect it from further damage.
